  • Is there any evaluation/development board of RAK7200 and SDK? So we can write/modify firmware as per our requirement?

    Hello,

There is no scuch board/SDK as of now, for this particular product as it was originally intended to work out of the box as a GPS tracker.

  • Is there a way to access the complete list of LoRa modem AT commands? I need the LoRa network signal strength RSSI, SNR etc. at device level. I see we have a limited AT command exposure. I am looking a little more information directly tapping into LoRa module (AT command issued from serial port from my PC where device is connected over USB).

    Hello Sir,

Those are the available commands for now: https://doc.rakwireless.com/rak7200-lora-tracker/configuring-the-rak7200-lora-tracker-using-at-commands

If you require anything more in depth perhaps make an enquire in the forums:

  • Hi, I would like to ask about Lora Tracker Battery specification such as Battery run time and Battery capacity. And Can we set ourselves the GPS information interval time like transmission frequency

    Hello Sir,

Please refer to the document for setting the transmission interval frequency.
    https://doc.rakwireless.com/rak7200-lora-tracker/configuring-the-rak7200-lora-tracker-using-at-commands

The battery is 2200mAh. The runtime would depend on the aforementioned frequency and sleep cycling, so I can not state a number there.

  • I followed the instruction as in "Get_Start_with_RAK7200_Tracker_Device.pdf" and downloaded "RUI_RAK7200_S76G_BOOT.bin" assuming this will boot the RAK7200 with latest firmware. Now, I do not see any LED is ON. I am not able to see anything with serial port as well. 13:20:50 : Read File: C:Users....RAK7200FirmwareRUI_RAK7200_S76G_BOOT.bin 13:20:50 : Number of segments: 1 13:20:50 : segment[0]: address= 0x0, size= 0x282C 13:20:53 : Memory Programming ... 13:20:53 : Opening and parsing file: RUI_RAK7200_S76G_BOOT.bin 13:20:53 : File : RUI_RAK7200_S76G_BOOT.bin 13:20:53 : Size : 10284 Bytes 13:20:53 : Address : 0x08000000 13:20:53 : Erasing memory corresponding to segment 0: 13:20:53 : Erasing internal memory sectors [0 80] 13:20:53 : Download in Progress: 13:20:55 : File download complete 13:20:55 : Time elapsed during download operation: 00:00:02.146 Can you please suggest?

  • Can it send only when there is motion detected with the out-of-the-box firmware?

    Hello Sir,

No this is not a part of the functionality at this time. Will eventually be in the future.

  • Hi, how is the 9-axis sensor data compressed before sent to gateway? Or do you send the instantaneous 9-axis sensor reading?

    Hello Sir,

Please ask at the forum. I am not competent enoughtm, unfortunatelly to answer this.

  • What is your timeline for the EU433MHz version? When is it expected for market?

    Hello Sir,

Unfortunatelly we expect to release it within two months. Apologies, this is quite long, however there are hardware and firmware design changes needed in order for it to wrok in the lower bands.

    Regards
    Vladislav

  • DO you have EU433MHz for this device

    Hello,

No we only support the high bands of LoRa for now. Working on the Low ones.

    Regards
    Vladislav

  • What is power usage in sleep mode? Also what is the usage in active mode?

    Hello Sir,

We are currently working on an updated firmware that will implement an ultra-low power mode. This will hopefully be completed by the end of the moth.
We shall publish some numbers as soon as possible.
    Please be patient with ous.

    Regards
    Vladislav

  • Is the GPS etc powered by the uC? Also is any documentation available on downlink configuration?

    Hello Sir,

The GPS is integrated in the AcSIP S76G itself. The sensors have separate circuitry that powers them.
What do you mean by documentation on downlink configuration?
What exactly is it that you want to achieve ?

    Regards
    Vladislav

  • What is the size of the battery in mAH please?

    Hello Sir,

Apologies for the late reply. The battery is 2200 mAh.

    Regards
    Vladislav
