RAK1903 is a WisBlock Sensor based on Texas Instruments OPT3001 chip which extends the WisBlock system with ambient light sensing capabilities. A ready to use SW library and tutorial makes it easy to build up an ambient light data acquisition system.
RAK1903's range from 0.01 lux to 83865 lux makes it suitable for a greenhouse control system, light detection system, or alarm systems.
RAK1903 combined with the RAK4631 WisBlock Core is ready to go system to collect ambient light data. The acquired data can be send using LoRaWan® communication, LoRa® point to point connections and BLE.
RAK1903 is ideal for battery-powered applications because of its low power consumption. In addition, the WisBlock system allows to power down the module complete to reduce the power consumption of the system even more.
