Use Case Examples of Enclosure for the WisGate Connect
For gateway projects, the enclosure helps teams standardize installation, reduce handling issues, and protect hardware across indoor benches, cabinets, and outdoor sites.
Use Case #1: Outdoor Sensor Gateway Deployment
A facilities team had gateway dropouts after cable strain during rain checks. Baseline uptime was 91% over 7 days. They used the IP67 outdoor enclosure, tested with a 24-hour spray check, reached 99% uptime, repeated 18 builds with 17 first-pass installs.
Use Case #2: Desktop Lab Gateway Setup
During lab testing, engineers spent 14 minutes per unit realigning antennas and checking display access. After switching to the desktop metal enclosure, inspections averaged 6 minutes across 20 units. Fit was verified by port-access checks, yield reached 95%.
