WisBlock LPWAN Tracker Solution is a GNSS location tracker "Built With RAK's WisBlock"

It is a ready to use product that can be used to track the location of assets, trucks, containers. It comes in an IP65 enclosure with an optional Solar Panel to recharge the battery and extend the work time. It supports both LoRaWAN and LoRa P2P connectivity.

You can set up all credentials and settings over USB by using an AT command interface that is compatible with our RAK3172. The product supports all upper frequency LoRaWAN regions (RU864, IN865, EU868, RU865, US915, AU915, KR920, AS923)

The firmware of the LPWAN Tracker is open source and can be easily adapted by the customer to his personal needs (https://github.com/RAKWireless/LPWAN-Tracker-Solution)

This product includes a mounting plate with a highly optimized integrated antenna for BLE and LoRaWAN. Please follow our mounting guide for the correct connection of the antennas to the WisBlock Core module.

Note:

  • If a non-rechargable battery is used with WisBlock Base Board it has to be unplugged before connecting the USB cable to the port on the board in order to configure the device. Not doing so might damage the battery and cause damage to the battery and board.
  • If a battery is used with WisBlock Base Board, please check that the battery connector has the correct polarity. You can check the required polarity in our Documentation Center
  • Since the RAK10700 is a portable device, it requires a battery to be used. Due to higher cost of worldwide transportation of batteries, we recommend you to buy a battery from Adafruit or Sparkfun. If you can't buy the battery, we recommend you to choose the variants with battery to be able to immediately use the RAK10700.
