Product Description
Are you interested to join the Meshtastic network? Meshtastic is an off-grid messaging system using inexpensive hardware to create your personal mesh. Radios forward messages to the next node to distribute them over the network. Communicate kilometers/miles between nodes. Internet-connected relay nodes enable the conversation to move online too.
Start immediately with our Meshtastic Starter Kit. It includes a WisBlock Base board and the RAK4631 WisBlock Core module, already flashed with the Meshtastic firmware. Power the boards up and start sending messages immediately.
Extend the Meshtastic Starter Kit with one or several of our suggested add-ons
- Add location service to the mesh with the RAK12500 GNSS module
- Connect peripherals to the Meshtastic Starter Kit with the RAK13002 IO module
- See your messages directly on the device with the RAK1921 OLED display
- Use the RAKBox-B5 to mount the starter kit together with the RAK1921 to a user-friendly indoor stand
- Use the Unify Enclosure to take your Meshtastic Kit outdoors. The solar panel of the Unify Enclosure can extend the lifetime of your battery by recharging it automatically.

Which outdoor unify enclosure is the right size for the Meshtastic starter kit with GPS and OLED display and enough room for an 18650 battery?
The enclosure that can carry the MEshtastic Starter Kit and 18650 battery is the Unify Enclosure IP67 150x100x45mm. But it has no opening for the OLED display, you will have to cut it by yourself and moutn the OLED display.
In case you will need with built-in solar panel, you can use also check the variant with solar panel - https://store.rakwireless.com/products/unify-enclosure-ip67-150x100x45mm-with-pre-mounted-m8-5-pin-and-rp-sma-antenna-ip-rated-connectors?m=5&h=unify-enclosure-modular-iot&variant=42861623738566. But this wont allow you to have opening for the OLED display.

The kit already contains everything you need, including bolts and even an antenna It’s good to also describe the exact distance between the holes (one hole is not symmetrical and there is no size between this hole and the others), I had to find this size experimentally, because of the small size it was difficult to measure manually
