What Is RAK3112 LoRa Module?
RAK3112 is a high-performance LoRa module that combines the ESP32-S3’s AI-capable dual-core processor with the long-range SX1262 LoRa transceiver. Designed for next-generation IoT devices, this module empowers developers to build smarter, faster, and more connected edge systems. It’s applicable for real-time data processing, graphical interfaces, or long-distance mesh communication.
With integrated WiFi, BLE, and LoRa in one compact Meshtastic module, RAK3112 eliminates the need for multiple components, reducing hardware complexity while maximizing flexibility.
Why You Need RAK3112 LoRa Module
Build smarter IoT devices with one powerful module. Whether you're creating a Meshtastic-connected handheld terminal, an edge AI sensor, or a graphical control panel for remote systems, the RAK3112 LoRa wireless module gives you the performance and flexibility to do it all.
Why it's useful:
- All-in-one wireless – Combines LoRa, WiFi, and BLE in one compact module
- Ready for edge AI – Run lightweight neural networks directly on the device
- Supports displays – Ideal for interactive dashboards, status panels, and Meshtastic mUI devices
- Built for mesh networking – Perfect for Meshtastic and long-range communication setups
Note:
1. The antenna of Check to Include is a supporting antenna for certification.
2. When purchasing Blade Antenna, you need to use it with IPEX TO RP-SMA/SMA Connector type iPEX (MHF-4) variant.
3. As our customers are starting mass production and deploying their products globally, we want to clarify that our modules' hardware supports multiple LoRaWAN regions. As there is no difference in the hardware, we optimized the variants in our store to make it easier to select the correct module. Please note that the difference between the variants is only in the label on the module, which reflects the different regional telecommunication certifications.
4. "With IPEX" variant has different hardware on RF path compared to "No IPEX" variant. This means the RF pinout is disconnected internally if "With IPEX" variant is selected. This is also the case if "No IPEX" is selected, IPEX connector RF path is disconnected.
