It provides an interface from your Meshtastic nodes to either the Meshtastic MQTT Broker or your own MQTT Broker. Whether you need to send sensor data, location information, or text messages to the cloud, this device meets your requirements.

At its core, the WisMesh WiFi MQTT Gateway is built around a WisBlock Core Module with pre-flashed Meshtastic firmware, enabling reliable connectivity using WiFi, Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE), and LoRa, and functioning as a robust LoRa MQTT gateway for cloud-connected mesh networks.

For ease of deployment, the device is optionally available pre-assembled in the compact WisMesh Unify Enclosure (IP65-rated, 100 mm x 75 mm x 38 mm). It also supports multiple mounting kits. Whether you need to attach it to a pole, wall, belt, or rail, we’ve got you covered.

Hardware Update: From RAK11200 to RAK3312

The earlier version of the gateway was based on the WisBlock RAK11200 Core Module, which used the ESP32-Wrover module. Espressif has since discontinued production of the ESP32-Wrover, making the RAK11200 end-of-life (EOL). To ensure continued availability and improved performance, the current hardware revision (V2) uses the WisBlock RAK3312 Core Module, featuring the ESP32-S3 and an integrated LoRa transceiver. This updated design consolidates WiFi, BLE, and LoRa into a single module, resulting in a more powerful and streamlined gateway architecture.

The earlier version of the WisMesh WiFi MQTT Gateway was built using the WisBlock RAK11200 Core Module paired with a separate RAK13300 LoRa module. The current V2 design consolidates WiFi, BLE, and LoRa into the single RAK3312 Core Module for improved integration and reduced system complexity.
