Unify Enclosure IP67 150x100x45mm

The Unify Enclosures are modular IP67 rated outdoor enclosures that include tailored features to support WisBlock Base Boards and WisBlock Modules, but are highly adaptable to any application with spacious internals and thoughtfully designed universal mounting options.

Deployment of your IoT solution is easy thanks to a range of swappable mounting accessories that enable you to install your IoT solution in any setting. These accessories are hosted on the rear surface of the enclosure using the integrated mounting locations and are secured with M3 fasteners into robust and reusable brass threaded inserts.

The 150x100x45mm enclosure has enough internal space to support the following WisBlock Base Boards - RAK19001, RAK19003, and RAK19007.

There is also space for a flat profile LiPo battery to be hosted under an internal mounting plate. The space available below a mounting plate in standard configuration is approximately 107x57x6mm excluding narrow sections where there are enclosure features.

The variant with pre-mounted M8 5pin connector (IP rated) and RP-SMA (IP rated) antenna connector offers to use the enclosure with external antenna and the option to supply the WisBlock solution with 5V through the M8 connector or connect a solar panel to recharge a battery inside the enclosure (optional, battery and solar panel are not included).

The M8 connector is a 5 pin variant with 2 pins for 5V or solar panel power supply and 3 pins for input or output signals. The cable inside the enclosure comes pre-mounted with a matching connector to the solar panel connector of the WisBlock Base Boards. The remaining 3 pins are with solder-ready end points.

If access to the USB ports of the WisBlock Base Boards is required, we offer drill guide jigs that can be 3D printed. These jigs are to place the holes at the correct position for RAK19007, RAK19001 or RAK19011 Base Boards.

Mounting Plate Specifications

1. Unify WisBlock Mounting Plate with Screw Bosses for 150x100x45mm Enclosure

This bespoke mounting plate fits perfectly into the Unify Enclosure (150x100x45mm) and includes integrated screw bosses to support the following components:

• RAK19001: Primary support
• RAK19003, RAK19007: Can be mounted simultaneously with 1 x RAK19001

The mounting plate can be easily adapted to accommodate the Base Boards and any attached sensors by removing unneeded sections using simple hand-operated side-cutters.
